Nola has been the Co-host on The Tony Zee Show for many years and she can say “You’re Disgusting” better than anyone. She has a talent for shutting up the host of the show, and stopping him in his tracks with merely a syllable.
Her spirit, humour, comedic timing and genuine love for life has captivated the audience so much, that she has become an integral part of the show. She has poignant views, stoic insights and a general command of the host, that the audience has come to rely on her ability to control the flow of the show. She is loved by the listeners and everyone she meets.
Nola is not only a major part of The Tony Zee show, but also has many other talents that endear her to her listeners. She understands people’s emotions, she understands the world and she understands that she makes listening to the show and being part of The Tony Zee Show family a worthy endeavor.
Nola is a multitalented person. She’s a wife (to Tony Zee), she’s a Mother (to Kylie, who appears on the show occasionally), she’s a Step Mother (to Ally, Adriana, and Cassandra (who appeared on the show regularly)). Her many talents and diverse interests, not only make her a loving and well versed person, but also a worldly experienced woman that loves diversity, and she always puts family before everything else. All of her friends will tell you, she is a Mama Bear when protecting her family, and she makes sure that her friends become her family.
She’s an Entrepreneur, recently having started her own business selling Pure Romance merchandise (see the “Nola Swag” section of The Tony Zee website). She is successful at everything she puts her mind to.
She loves riding her Motorcycle, she is (according to anyone who has eaten her food) an incredible cook, and loves gardening and animals of all kinds (her marriage should attest to that).
Nola has recently been diagnosed with Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and has vowed to beat it. She has always been a fighter, and doesn’t plan to stop, or let it hold her back. If anyone can kick it’s butt, she will. She recently has solidified her stand against this horrible diagnosis by having a Tattoo party for herself, and several close friends, where they raised their own flag to signify the start of the battle. The troops have lined up and have armed themselves (I wouldn’t want to be Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma with this army). The amount of support that Nola has received during this time shows how greatly she is loved, and all of the hundreds of people that have voiced their support and offered their help, only attests to how immensely she is loved and revered.
Nola has recently begun another project, and that is, a cookbook. Not a fancy dish cookbook, but an everyday good, healthy eating cookbook. Everyday dishes loved and drooled over by everyone. The dishes not only taste fantastic, but a relatively simple to make and VERY easy to eat. I’m sure we’ll see something available soon.
The final thing that Nola is known to be, is a believer of other worldly experiences. She believes in Ghost, Psychics and Mediums, and loves a great story and can tell a few of her own.
